Blender node group that generates a procedural diamond pattern. Easily adjust the scale, thickness and size of the diamond.

It outputs a Black & White pattern so there are various uses. For example, you can plug the output into the Alpha of the Principled BSDF Shader to create a grid material with holes!

Installation

With Blender open, click on File>Append, then navigate to where you saved the Ultimate Strip Box .blend file. Double-click, then scroll till you see "Node Tree", double-click then click on Ultimate Strip Box node group.

Now in your Shader Editor, press Shift>A, scroll to Group and there you'll find it.

Setup

Add a Texture Coordinate node and connect the Object coordinate to the vector input of the node group. Then simply connect it to the Material Output node. Enjoy!
